Catching Up with Old Friends

Sunday, I visited with a girlfriend from college.  She was a freshman during my senior year but we belonged to the same sorority.  We recently reconnected through Facebook.  My memories of Dale are that she was particularly kind and thoughtful.  I must say, time has only improved her character.

She was down here in Ocala visiting her mother and was looking through the OTOW phone book looking for a particular name.  She ran across mine and wondered if I could possibly be the same person.  I found her email at the end of the day just before I was going out for the evening so I emailed back that indeed I was.  Her Mom just happened to live two blocks away.  We arranged to meet and visit on Sunday afternoon.  I met her Mom, then Dale came over to my house for a little while, we walked my dogs around the block and then she met my Mom and Dad.  A truly lovely afternoon.
